    Daniel
    Analysis: Daniel. 678

    Type: Water
    HP: 100
    Atk: 200
    Def: 150
    SAtk: 250
    SDef: 170
    Spd: 220
Ability: Water Veil, Lightningrod, Swift Swim
    Tier: Fundex Uber

Judging from Daniel's stats, you may expect him to be one of the best, no? Well, think again. Despite having such great stats, he has a terribly shallow movepool. The only good thing about moves is that he has access to Toxic... Without it he's easy bait for Giygas since he walls ALL his attacking moves.

    "DAMN THIS KEYBOARD!"
    Daniel (M) @ Normal Gem
    Lightningrod.
    4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Modest (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Powder Snow / Bubble / Giga Impact
    - Toxic
    - Hyper Beam
    - Protect

This set is the *ONLY* set Daniel can really pull off. A Normal Gem boosted Hyper Beam on the back of 250 base Special Attack. The given EV's help against the occasional choiced 'mon. A STAB boosted Bubble is actually stronger than Powder Snow, but out of the two, you'd be better of using Giga Impact, even though his Special Attack is better than Attack.

    Other Options
To be honest, you don't really have any other options because of his shallowness....

    Checks and Counters
Giygas, like I said earlier, walls all of Daniel's moves, other than Toxic. And Swadner can easily set up on Daniel and then Baton Pass into another pokemon that can then easily take it down.
