VIVIT
Type:
HP: 90
Atk: 95
Def: 85
SAtk: 115
SDef: 85
Spd: 90
Ability: Blaze / Heavy Metal
Tier: Fundex UU
Possessing good overall stats, the Special Attack standing out, our android maid VIVIT is no joke. The ability Blaze makes her a dangerous sweeper on low HP. She might be overshadowed by her Angel form that has
Levitate and a lot higher base Special Attack, 145, but VIVIT has better defenses, which can allow her to take a hit and use Autotomize without having to use Substitute.
"Stardust Extinction"
VIVIT (F) @ Petaya Berry
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Autotomize
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon
Use your Substitute at the right time, so you can boost your Speed with Autotomize and get your HP down to the activation of both the Petaya Berry and Blaze. If the foe lacks any priority moves, VIVIT will either sweep
or just dent the foe's team severely. Fire Blast / Flamethrower and Flash Cannon sadly do not provide coverage for other Fire types, but they won't have a nice time against VIVIT with their STAB either.
"Meteoric Swarm"
VIVIT (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Overheat / Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Flash Cannon
- Energy Ball
- Hidden Power [Rock]
A choiced sweeping set that allows VIVIT to have more attacking options. Overheat can be used over one of the other Fire STAB attacks for a hit-and-run strategy. Energy Ball covers Water and Hidden Power covers Fire.
Also, VIVIT hits 417 Speed with this set, outspeeding for example Jolly Hibachi or Timid Hibachi #2 and Zalgo. In fact she outspeeds entire OU except for Captain Falcon, foes with boosted Speed or faster Scarfers.
Other Options
Focus Blast, Work Up
Focus Blast is another Special attack in VIVIT's movepool, but it doesn't provide a lot of coverage.
Work Up boosts VIVIT's Special Attack.
Checks and Counters
Unlike her Angel form, VIVIT does not have Levitate and is a prey for Ground attacks. You should not switch into her, as she might use Substitute and proceed to set up her BlazePetaya set. Instead, keep attacking her and KO her
with something faster. If you keep attacking she will not get a turn to use Autotomize. Ground-type attacks will wear her down right away, unless it's used by something very, very weak. Fast fighters like Leeroy Jenkins are
also options to OHKO her.
