Weegee
Type:
HP: 254
Atk: 3
Def: 254
SAtk: 3
SDef: 254
Spd: 2
Ability: Intimidate
Tier: Fundex Uber
Weegee is a stone wall, as you can guess from his base stats. The only he can properly attack with is Night Shade (Seismic Toss is useless in Ubers, because there are no Normal types and Seismic Toss can't hit Swadner or Giygas), and since everything has a lot of HP in Uber, it won't do a lot. However, because of Weegee's massive stalling, thanks to Intimidate, Substitute, Leftovers and Recover, the low damage does not matter that much. Just like Swadner, Weegee is a threat in Ubers any team should be able to do something about.
"The Weegee Stare"
Weegee (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Recover
- Toxic / Taunt
- Night Shade
This set perfectly uses Weegee's ability to wall. The EVs are given to maximize Defense, because the Physical attackers are the most dangerous in Fundex Uber. DanZalgo, Maribel-B and Yukari don't cause much harm to Weegee as Stealth Norris and 2012 do. Substitute and Recover allow Weegee to awesomely stall his foes, while they get damaged by poison (either Toxic Spikes or Weegee's Toxic). If you have Toxic Spikes laid down, you can run Taunt on Weegee to shut down other walls. Lastly, Night Shade is of course Weegee's means of damaging.
Other Options
Thunder Wave is an option for Weegee, but it doesn't help Weegee himself much (as his base Speed is only 2).
Checks and Counters
Solar Power Utsuho OHKOs Weegee with Giga Flare in Sun without any Special Attack boost. Out of the actual Uber list, 2012 comes to closest to dealing great damage to Weegee. Nasty Plot DanZalgo with Sludge Wave can also damage Weegee quite well. If you don't have either 2012 or DanZalgo, you'll have to rely on Baton Passing to dent Weegee. It is also a good choice to use Stealth Norris, because of his immunity to Poison.
