    Minoriko's stats lean more towards taking a hit than dealing one. While her Attack is rather low, she doesn't use it much, with only 12 physical moves out of 48 total moves, a fair few of which aren't even offensive moves.

    Toxic and Leech Seed are to whittle away the foe, and Giga Drain is to deal damage and heal if she isn't taking enough damage to merit spamming Rest. If you choose to use Calm Mind instead, it heals more with Giga Drain, but it also poses more of a risk in case you have no time to use Calm Mind enough. On the other hand, Calm Mind also boosts Special Defense, so it's useful to take hits from a special attacker if you have the time to set up. As such, with Calm Mind, this Minoriko is usually well teamed with something which can freeze the target or put it to sleep. It's best to use Toxic first, as if you can't hit with Leech Seed, Toxic will still whittle away the enemy's health. Unless they have a berry of their own, or use Rest, Toxic is a good choice. If either of those apply, Leech Seed can still come into play. The speed is slightly boosted so Minoriko can quickly get in a Toxic or Leech Seed on anything slower than her, and then Rest first the next turn if they dealt a lot of damage.

    Checks:
    Pretty much anything with Taunt can wreck most of Minoriko's strategies. If she can't take it out with an attacking move before the Taunt ends, then she won't be able to do much. Torment can also cause trouble for her, though perhaps not to the same extent.

    Counters:
    If you have a fire or bug type with Taunt/Torment, it can likely easily deal with Minoriko. For that matter, pretty much anything capable of OHKO'ing her with a powerful Super Effective attack can eliminate Minoriko. Sakuya can also easily get rid of her with The World or Skill Link Icicle Spear.
